I love how this turned out more than the orig...the sepia tones really date it, and how you darken the corners...:thumbsup: :hug:

i loved the aged version, very authentic. i wouldn't have thought it was a ps effect.

Alison, darling, the tones and light are gorgeous. :hug:
BUT: in black and white film photography the noise is in the bright parts and not in the dark parts of the picture as it is in digital photography. I think the noise is irritating when usually noise in b&w is something quite beautiful.

Thanks so much. Its true the parts that i dont like it how the effect affects the dark or solid areas.... i dont know how to avoid that at the moment. Only way is to make the overall darker, tried it but it compromised too much. THanks for the critique nontheless.

I think using the textures>grain filter (regular) and then applying gaussian blur with a radius of 3 pixel could do the trick. :)
